1. How long has Horizon Motor Coach (HMC) been in business?
HMC has been in business since 1997.
2. What is required to reserve a bus?
In order to reserve a bus you must submit a signed confirmation and a 10% deposit are required to reserve a bus.
3. What size motor coaches does Horizon have?
HMC has 56 passengers, 38 and 14 passengers’ coaches and vans.
4. How much insurance does Horizon Carry?
HMC is insured for $5,000,000 (5 Million) dollars.
5. What is your cancellation policy?

HMC cancellation policy is that you must cancel 30 days in advance to receive a full refund of your deposit.

a. Cancellation policy for Extreme Weather
You can postpone your trip for up to a year.
b. Cancellation policy for Pandemic, Epidemic or Terrorism
Your charter will be cancel automatically and a refunded will be issued.

6. How far in advance can I book my trip?
A customer may book a trip a year in advance but it still depends on availability.
7. Does your buses have DVD or VCR?
HMC motor coaches have both DVD and VCR for your pleasure.
8. Is smoking allowed on the bus?
Federal regulations states that Smoking/Vaping is prohibited at all times on the motor coaches.
9. How far does Horizon travel?
Horizon is qualified to travel the U.S. and Canada areas.
10. What happens if our bus breakdown?
If the bus becomes inoperable horizon motor will send for another bus or hire another company to continue your trip and get you back on the road.
11. Can I request the bus and driver we want for our trip?
The customer can request a bus or driver but Horizon cannot guarantee the assignment of requested motor coaches or drivers.

Horizon Motor Coach as added safety precautions to ensure a clean safe ride for all of our customers, we follow strict 10-point daily sanitation procedures that includes:

  • Fully Disinfected Coaches
  • Hand Sanitizer Station
  • CDEC/EPA Approved Disinfectants
  • Attention to Critical Touch Points
  • Complete Coach Disinfectant Fogging
  • HVAC Disinfection
  • Masked Drivers
  • Attention to Detail (reading lights/air nozzles, rails, handles)
  • Commitment to Professional Safe-Care

We regularly sanitize and clean between trips and during long overnight trips.  HMC drivers are trained in safety and cleanliness procedures.  HMC have protocols in place to safely distance passengers when possible.

Upon returning to HMC our coaches will be disinfected with a 32-critical touch points with CDC identified disinfecting solutions with an aerosol applicator.  A Just Cleaned sticker with date and time and will be placed in the coach window after each disinfection.
